Mullen Residences at the Highlands: A New Catholic Senior Living Community in Denver
The Archdiocese of Denver is pleased to announce Mullen Residences at the Highlands, a new Catholic senior living community inspired by the legacy of the Mullen Home and the Little Sisters of the Poor. In partnership with Christian Living Communities, this eight-acre campus will offer independent living, assisted living and memory care where faith is at the center of daily life.
The historic chapel will remain the heart of the community with daily Mass, the sacraments, prayer and fellowship bringing residents together. Mullen Residences at the Highlands will also be home to retired clergy, whose presence will enrich the community.
Construction is planned to begin in 2027, with residents expected to move in by 2029. Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila shared, “Our elders will continue to live with purpose, surrounded by others, rooted in faith.”
